My first starring role was when I played Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof at summer camp in 1993. Since then I’ve appeared on a few podcasts and TV shows here and there.

Much like the VHS tape of that original performance, it appears most of my exploits are no longer available on the internet. Here’s a few things that are still alive (for the time being, anyway), and also a few things even the Wayback Machine couldn’t retrieve.

Listen to me!

Sports Geek Podcast

I joined Sean Callanan’s popular sports and digital podcast to discuss my time running digital and social for the Atlanta Hawks.

Digital and Social Sports Podcast

Similarly, I joined Neil Horowitz’s podcast to discuss the same thing. I talk about the Hawks a lot.

Unorthodox Podcast

Finally, one not about the Hawks! This was a really fun episode of Tablet’s Unorthodox podcast all about summer camps that they were nice enough to invite me to participate in.

Me! On TV!

When I wrote for NBA.com, I created something I called “The Horry Scale”, which was a rating system for all game-winning buzzer beaters in the NBA, named in honor of the patron saint of last-second heroics, Robert Horry. One season I got to go on NBA TV and discuss the season’s entries with Big Game Bob himself. It was really fun. They still use the Horry Scale today, which is something I’m strangely as proud of as my children.

And here is proof that I know a ton about sports but somehow never win:

I Lost On (Sports) Jeopardy

This vanished from the internet, but there was a time that a sports version of Jeopardy appeared on Crackle, and I competed in Season 1. I am still angry about how it played out. I coulda been a contender!

Stump the Schwab.

I don’t even know why I put this here, other than it’s just amazing what you can find in a google search. For those keeping track at home, I’ve been on two sports trivia gameshows and finished second both times. Always a bridesmaid…
